Komatsu SK815 Turbo

Komatsu SK815 Turbo skid steer loader, year 2004, in good condition, about
2.5 tonnes (2,540 kg), with 3,100 working hours. It was built in Italy, at the
Komatsu plant in Noventa Vicentina (Vicenza).

It is powered by a 2.2-litre four-cylinder Komatsu turbo diesel engine, with
38 kW (51 hp) and about 145 Nm of torque at 1,200 rpm. The turbo gives it
strength when the bucket is full or when working uphill.

Its main strength is the Super Flow hydraulic system, delivering 100 litres per
minute against about 62 on the standard version. With this flow, attachments
that need a lot of oil work well: cold planer, flail mower, rotary tiller and
sweeper.

The transmission is hydrostatic with two speeds: about 10 km/h for working and
16 km/h for moving around the site. The automatic power control (APC) stops the
engine from dropping revs under load. When you raise the lift arms the bucket
levels itself, so the material does not spill.

It has a rated operating capacity of about 700 kg and a breakout force of about
1,520 kg. It is about 1.65 m wide and 1.95 m high, so it can be moved on a
trailer or a small truck. The cab is ROPS/FOPS.

It is suited to building and road contractors, gardeners and landscapers, farms
and quarry or aggregate yards.
