HCS jaw crusher system
Gasparin OMG’s HCS system consists of two double-acting cylinders mounted in parallel, a movable crossbeam and a toggle plate.
When non-crushable material is present and the oil pressure in the cylinders exceeds the value set on the pressure switch, the system intervenes automatically: the cylinder closes again, causing the mobile jaw to retract and allowing the non-crushable material to be expelled.
This prevents the toggle plate from breaking and preserves the integrity of the crusher. At the same time, all hydraulic utilities are stopped to allow system reset and subsequent reactivation.
