The STS system installed on this model, as on all Takeuchi Full Round (or Full Rotation) excavators, allows perfect rotations within the maximum width of the carriage, without compromising the stability of the machine.
Takeuchi FR models revolutionise the traditional excavator concept with an innovative swan-shaped boom. This is mounted on a central crossbeam and can be moved 90° using the right pedal.

This configuration allows excavation flush with the wall while keeping the boom perfectly perpendicular even at maximum depth. It also provides superior bucket visibility compared to traditional swing systems, giving the operator optimal control during digging operations.
