Tractor ripper

Ripper SLM ITALIA are robust machines that, once hooked to the tractor via the three-point hitch, allow the subsoiling (or scarification) of the soil. Subsoiling is a procedure that consists of breaking the compact layers of the soil (more or less deep) and crumbling the clods. This particular process allows:
- a considerable saving of time, in fact halving the time needed to work the soil compared to a hoe;
- to preserve the content of the organic substance and microorganisms present in the soil;
- the increase of the useful space for the roots;
- an increase in the drainage capacity;
- the improvement of the characteristics of permeability and aeration;
- not to leave, unlike ploughing, the working sole.
